Patient Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Patient and Family Advisory Committee is to allow committee
partners, patients, and families to provide guidance and share feedback
on how to improve the patient and family experience with members of the
healthcare team. The committee works to do the following:
1. Help to promote patient-centered care
2. Identify gaps based on assessment and suggested plans
3. Develop an action plan based on patient satisfaction scores
4. Bring the needs and concerns of patients and families to the healthcare
team and leadership
5. Improve patient experience
6. Help guide priorities and assist in planning for the future
7. Further enhance the relationship between Atlantic General Hospital &
Health System and the community
This committee meets on a quarterly basis.
