Our Nutrition Services are typically covered by insurances and offer payment
plans. Referrals are required. We can help obtain a referral from your

Our Services
Nutritional counseling can help to improve a number of medical conditions
including:
- Cardiovascular disease (including high cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure)
- Digestive disorders (including IBS)
- Food allergies and intolerances (including Celiac disease)
- Kidney disease
- Cancer care
- Childhood obesity
We offer nutritional counseling for weight management, whether a patient
is seeking to gain or lose weight. We also provide guidance on proper
nutrition for vegetarians as well as healthy eating for general well-being.
Additionally, upon request, we can help coordinate a consultation with the

Our Nutrition Services Team
Amanda Buckley, RD, LDN
Amanda Buckley, RD, LDN is a licensed and registered dietitian providing
clinical counseling, training, and education in food and nutrition. She
has a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management. Amanda completed
nutrition coursework and research at James Madison University, University
of London, Birkbeck, and University of Ghana, Legon, completing a BS in
Nutrition at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, culminating in a comprehensive
dietetic internship through Iowa State University. She currently works
as Clinical Nutrition Services Coordinator for inpatient and outpatient
services at Atlantic General, as well as lending expertise to Bariatric
Services. Amanda is a native of the Eastern Shore.
Katie Busacca MS, RD, LDN
Katie is a registered dietitian and licensed dietitian nutritionist from
New Jersey. She has a Certificate of Training in Pediatric Weight. Katie
earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in
Dietetics from James Madison University and her graduate degree in Nutrition
Education from Montclair State University. Katie then completed her dietetic
internship through Iowa State University in Cedar Rapids, IA. She currently
works at Atlantic General Hospital as an inpatient dietitian and has previous
experience working as a nutrition counselor for the Maryland WIC program.
