Berlin, Md. – Sidney and Sherrie Beckstead, long-time supporters of Atlantic
General Hospital, donated $10,000 for the AGH Campaign for the Future
in early February.
Their involvement with AGH began far before the generous donation that
they recently made. Mrs. Sherrie Beckstead served for three terms on the
Board of Directors at Atlantic General Hospital. Prior to that, she served
on the Foundation board.
Sidney and Sherrie are partners in a local jewelry store in Ocean City,
Liljenquist & Beckstead, which opened in 1978. Still a respected philanthropist
in Ocean City and now also in Washington D.C., Mrs. Sherrie Beckstead
has invested her time and energy into giving back to the community-at-large.
