Your Appointment
Today, our lives couldn't be any busier. We have a lot to keep track
of -- children, jobs, pets and everything that comes with them. We know
it's easy to fall behind, and we understand. However, for the convenience of
all of our patients, we ask that you arrive for your appointments on time.
If a patient is more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, it is the
policy of Atlantic General Hospital and Atlantic General Health System
(AGHS) to reschedule that patient's visit if the provider's schedule
is full. We do this to ensure that the wait to see a provider is as short
as possible for all of our patients.
If you are late for an appointment, our staff will do everything possible
to make arrangements for you to be seen by another provider, either at
your regular office or at one close by. If no openings are available,
you may seek care at one of our walk-in locations: Atlantic ImmediCare
on 10th Street in Ocean City or at the Atlantic Health Center located
on the Atlantic General Hospital campus.
Otherwise, your appointment with your provider can be rescheduled for
a time that is convenient for you.
If you are not able to keep your appointment at the specified date and
time, please make every effort to cancel in advance so that the time slot
is available to another patient. If you miss 3 appointments in Atlantic
General Health System within a 24-month period without giving notice at
least 24 hours in advance, you could be dismissed from all AGHS practices.
