The Townsend Medical Center provides primary care and x-ray services for its established patients in the Ocean City community as well as walk-in patients at its Atlantic ImmediCare seasonal clinic. The center also provides occupational health services to employers in Ocean City and the surrounding area.

The Townsend Medical Center is also the location of the seasonal Atlantic ImmediCare walk-in clinic, open seven days a week from May to October. This is also the location Occupational Health Services.

Stephen Waters, M.D.

Dr. Stephen F. Waters received his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, D.C., and completed his internship and residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Md. Waters is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and was elected as the first chief of the medical staff at Atlantic General Hospital. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors and as Medical Director for Atlantic General Hospital for 15 years.

Amy S. Barshinger, CRNP

Amy S. Barshinger, CRNP, earned a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies at Wilmington University in Georgetown, Del. after earning her bachelor of science in nursing from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Md. Prior to joining the Atlantic General Health System, Barshinger worked in many specialties, including family practice, internal medicine, urgent care and occupational health. She holds ANCC and AANP certifications.

Lorren Donmoyer, M.D.

Lorren Donmoyer, M.D., received his medical education from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Donmoyer is now accepting patients at Townsend Medical Center in Ocean City.
