Berlin -- Willow Construction, LLC employs the hard working men and women who are building the new John H. “Jack” Burbage, Jr. Regional Cancer Care Center at Atlantic General Hospital. On May 9, 2018, Willow Construction held their 1st Annual Safety Stand Down on the Atlantic General Hospital grounds.

The nationwide OSHA Safety Stand Down was held the entire week of May 7-11, 2018 to promote safety and fall prevention tactics. The two key areas that Willow focused on at Atlantic General Hospital were fall protection and personal protective equipment (PPE), which are some of the most effective tools in preventing injuries from occurring.

At the end of the event, all participants from Willow received a sticker to place on their hard hat to recognize their participation in this nationwide cause.

Atlantic General Hospital and Health System was proud to support Willow Construction’s 1st Annual Safety Stand Down at the new cancer center site. Dedication to safety is important to all aspects of Atlantic General Hospital and Health System, including the construction of new buildings.
