New Gynecologist Joins Atlantic General Health System

Atlantic General Hospital has announced that gynecologist Dolores Rhymer-Anderson M.D., FACOG, MBA has joined Atlantic General Health System’s Ocean Pines Primary Care and Women’s Health practice, as of May 1. Dr. Rhymer-Anderson is the fifth women’s health provider to join the medical staff for the health system physician offices and comes to Atlantic General with 24 years of gynecology experience. She will provide general women’s health services, gynecologic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as aesthetic and laser cosmetic surgery procedures to patients in Worcester County and the surrounding area.

Dr. Rhymer-Anderson completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse and earned a master’s in business administration through the Physician Executive MBA Program at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga.

She also completed an internship and residency at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York, N.Y. Dr. Rhymer-Anderson is board certified and a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a fellow of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery.
