New Family Physician Joins Pocomoke Practice

Dr. Diane Ceruzzi, a family physician with more than 15 years of experience, will be joining the Pocomoke Medical Center on November 23 to provide primary care services to the residents of Pocomoke and the surrounding area.

Ceruzzi will see new and existing patients in the practice. She joins Dr. Anthony Perella, who provides pulmonary care, and gynecologist Christine Neto, M.D., in the medical center.

Ceruzzi received her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at Genesys Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan. She is board certified through the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

In the past two years, Atlantic General Health System has made concentrated efforts to ensure access to medical services for individuals in southern Worcester County. In addition to pulmonary and gynecological care and family medicine, the Pocomoke Medical Center offers x-rays and other imaging services. Laboratory services, including blood draws, will also be offered, beginning in early 2010.

Ceruzzi is accepting new patients as well as caring for those patients who are already established at the Pocomoke Medical Center. To make an appointment with Ceruzzi or any provider within Atlantic General Health System, call the Physicians Appointment Line at 410-641-1082.
