Atlantic General Hospital's Terry Moore Receives National Award
08-27-2009
Terry Moore, registered nurse and clinical leader of the Atlantic Endoscopy
Center, was recently honored with EndoNurse Magazine’s Most Valuable
Professional in Endoscopy Award. This is the second year the magazine,
which reaches 13,000 gastroenterology nurses and technicians nationwide,
has bestowed this honor.
Selection for the MVP Award was made via online voting, which was open
to all – subscribers, gastroenterology professionals and the public at large.
EndoNurse Magazine’s 2nd Annual Most Valuable Professionals in Endoscopy Award.
Moore was nominated by her staff and the gastroenterologists at the Atlantic
Endoscopy Center this past spring, but didn’t learn about it until
they told her about the submission during a monthly staff meeting.
“What an awesome feeling knowing I have made a difference in people's
lives,” Moore said. “Treating and taking care of others the
way my parents raised me has been recognized. I have to be honest –
there is no higher honor or compliment.”
Moore will be featured in the October/November issue of EndoNurse Magazine.
