National Doctors' Day to be Celebrated at Atlantic General Hospital
03-20-2006
Berlin, Maryland – On Monday, March 27, 2006 and throughout the week,
Atlantic General Hospital will begin the celebration of DOCTORS’
WEEK. National Doctors’ Day is actually on March 30, but Atlantic
General Hospital began a tradition a few years ago of having various departments
recognize the doctors by celebrating the entire week. The annual event
is met with much joy and excitement as the staff plans this week of celebration.
Atlantic General Hospital will personally recognize the medical staff
with breakfast and lunch available to them each day by various departments
of the hospital. On Monday, March 27, 2006 the kickoff begins with the
Medical Staff Office having breakfast and lunch available for them. This
will take place upstairs in Conference Room #3 which joins the Medical
Staff Offices. Each day the Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Med/Surg,
CCU, and Health Information Management will also be making available breakfast
and lunch to our medical staff in the respective departments. A schedule
of events is posted throughout the hospital and has been sent to each
medical staff member.
We feel fortunate to have a highly skilled and talented medical staff
here at Atlantic General Hospital providing quality patient care close
to home. Better living through care and medicine is what we all wish for.
Atlantic General Hospital and the community owe a debt of gratitude to
physicians for the compassion in administering the sick and alleviating
human suffering.
AGH would like to encourage members of the community to make an extra
effort to show their appreciation to their personal physicians on DOCTORS’ DAY.
