Carousel Resort Hotel and Condominiums Title Sponsor of Atlantic General Hospital's Fall Golf Classic

Carousel Resort Hotel and Condominiums will be the title sponsor of Atlantic General Hospital Fall Golf Classic, the premier golfing event on the Shore. Michael James, managing partner of the Carousel, recently presented a $10,000 check to the hospital’s foundation for the event.

Planners hope this year’s classic, which will be held once again at the Ocean City Golf Club, will be even more successful than last year when more than 40 teams took to the greens to support the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation.

Due to the turnout at last year’s event, both the Newport Bay and Seaside courses will be open for play on September 28.

“We’d like to see 45 teams turn out for the day,” said Foundation Chairman Bob Warfield. “This event combines some of the best things in life: the pleasure and relaxation of a good round of golf with friends and the knowledge that you’re helping to support the community.”

Along with the Carousel Resort Hotel and Condominiums, many other area businesses are offering their support. The catered full-course dinner for the golfers will be donated by Carrabba’s Italian Grill of West Ocean City. Delmarva Collections is this year’s golf cart sponsor, and Comcast Spotlight is the Newport Bay hospitality cart sponsor.

The foundation is still looking for a sponsor for lunch and the Seaside hospitality cart, as well as tee sponsors, hole-in-one sponsors and team sponsors. The $1000.00 four-member team sponsorship includes green fees, cart, lunch, dinner, beverages on the course, gifts, and foursome photographs.
